LTo preserve the health and safety of library staff, patrons, and the Cadott Community, the Library will implement BY APPOINTMENT opening, beginning June 1st. It is our greatest effort to continue providing more service over time until we are fully open to the public and our normal operations. We thank you for your continued patience and support.  Guidelines for By Appointment library use are as follows, and may be expected to change as needs and complications arise.

Scheduling an Appointment for Browsing and Item Pick-Up

  • Patrons who are picking up pulled/courier items will be asked to use our Curbside Service instead of coming inside of the library.
  • Appointments scheduled a minimum of 24 hours ahead. Calls taken Monday thru Saturday. Appointments available Monday thru Friday.
  • Patrons will inform the staff of how many people will be visiting.
  • Patrons will have a 20 minute scheduled time period for their visit.
  • Appointments can be made by calling (715-289-4950), e-mailing (cadottpl@cadottlibrary.org), or via Facebook Messenger. If using e-mail or Messenger, please be aware that staff may take longer to respond with available appointment slots.
  • When arriving for your appointment, please remain in your vehicle until Library Staff open the door for you.

Scheduling an Appointment for Printing, Faxing, and Copying

  • Patrons with print/copy/fax needs will be accommodated same-day.
  • A minimum 1 Hour Call-Ahead is required, 24 Hours Preferred.
  • Curbside Printing will be available. Forward or attach documents via e-mail to: cadottpl@cadottlibrary.org. We will contact you with a pick-up time. Exact cash only, please.

Scheduling an Appointment for Computer Use

  • 2 Computers will be available in 30 minute, single use allotments.
  • A minimum 1 Hour Call-Ahead is required, 24 Hours Preferred.
  • Patrons requiring more than 30 minutes, but do NOT require printing (such as job searching, Unemployment Enrollment, etc.), please inform staff at the time of scheduling your appointment. We cannot accommodate extended use with printing at this time.
  • PLEASE no games or other entertainment use.

Other Notes

  • We will not accommodate “meet-ups” or other gathering attempts.
  • Staff will sanitize high-contact areas between patron visits, as we are able. As such, we ask you to respect your appointment times.
  • We encourage the use of masks and other PPE by patrons. We are limiting the number of people in the building, and asking patrons to maintain 6 foot distancing.
  • Appointments will be available in the morning, afternoon, and evening, within our normal operating hours, Monday thru Friday. The library will be closed to the public on Saturdays, but staff will be on-site for other tasks and preparing the library for business on Monday.
