Cadott’s newest book club offering –with a bonus of food tasting! Each month, participants will select a cookbook to peruse and select a recipe featuring our signature ingredient. Make enough for approximately 12 to taste (so not full portions! Servings of 4-6 are likely adequate), bring your dish to the library to share. We’ll share the cookbooks we found our recipes in, how we found working with the ingredient of the month, and of course: taste!
Cookbook selections can be found on the MORE catalog, in the library, or come from your own collection. If you need help with ingredients, please contact Samma. Gardeners with surplus: donations are welcome!
September 27th: Squash (Click here for a list of suggested cookbooks) All squash from Acorn to Zucchini welcome.
October 25th: Pasta (Click here for a list of suggested cookbooks) Dried or Fresh –pasta is a versatile ingredient.
November 22nd: Eggs (Click here for a list of suggested cookbooks) This staple ingredient isn’t one to sleep on. Whether at breakfast or dinner, the humble egg is more dynamic than you might imagine.
We will access the success of this program in December to resume in January.
