Employment

The library staff is a small group of 3-4 individuals, sometimes including a student worker as we are able to fit into our budget. We are also staffed occasionally by those seeking work experience from organizations like Workforce Resource and Aurora. In those cases, the library is not paying those individuals but the organization is. The library is a department of the Village of Cadott, but under the authority of the Cadott Community Library Board of Trustees.

Unless noted below, we do not generally take applications. If a position is open, applicants can apply by sending a resume to [email protected] or by filling out the online application linked to the left. Applicants are encouraged to read through the job descriptions completely before applying.

The library is always looking for volunteers, especially around the summertime! If you are interested in volunteering, obtaining community service hours, or just spending more time with the awesome staff here at the library – please fill out an application! Primary duties would include light cleaning, helping with program preparation, accurate shelving of materials, etc.
